The Captura Team accomplishes this by applying a quantitative model to highly volatile digital assets. With a combination of founders from Wall Street, Academia and the Software Programming worlds, Captura focuses on the base layer of digital assets and the ways in which dividend reinvestment in scarce assets reshapes the notion of returns. With a special emphasis on crypto-native open-source software development, the Fund actively participates in networks via staking, protocol development, and network growth. Captura is designed to address two major issues specific to digital assets: 1) minimize the risk that is often associated with nascent technologies in an unregulated market; and 2) harness the extreme volatility of digital assets to produce higher long-term absolute returns with significantly lower downside volatility than that of the underlying assets. The Fund is designed to minimize the infrastructure risk and harness the volatility of digital assets to produce superior risk adjusted returns.
