Kurt Laning has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry encompassing working internally as a product development actuary and externally designing and marketing insurance programs to corporations and financial institutions. As Executive Vice President, Kurt leads the Non-Qualified, Insurance and BOLI teams focused on the goal of delivering “best in class” solutions in all aspects of product and service for clients. Previously Kurt was President of Clark Consulting whose operations were acquired by Newport Group. Kurt’s experience includes product development for a major insurance company, defined benefit pension consulting and working for a third party marketing firm specializing in the bank insurance marketplace. Kurt graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in actuarial science. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has spoken at various industry meetings and written articles in the banking and insurance industries.
