Absolute Return is compiling data for its bi-annual survey of new hedge fund launches, a comprehensive accounting of Americas-based firms, funds and strategies that raised capital in 2018. The research piece and accompanying story tracks all Americas launches with at least $50 million in assets by the end of the year (see the latest midyear update here, and last year’s full-year piece here).
