Alternative investment executive search and strategic advisory firm Jensen Partners has hired Cara Bianchini as executive search consultant and Albert Villodas as head of project management.
Both join following founder and CEO Sasha Jensen’s buy-out of the business in November from Context Capital Partners, which seeded Jensen in 2015.
When she announced her plans to buy out Context’s stake, Jensen said the move would allow the firm to bring in outside investment, which would be used to build out the business through new hires and new service offerings.
Bianchini joins from JJ Bergen Associates, where she was an executive recruiter specialising in alternative management talent, according to a news release from Jensen Partners.
In her new role she will be responsible for managing Jensen Partners’ global search execution capabilities.
Villodas will oversee Jensen Partners’ new and existing client engagements. He previously worked as an analyst at The Abraaj Group, a private equity firm, where he managed fundraising for private equity, private credit, real estate and clean energy sectors.
Both will be based in Jensen Partners’ New York office.
“As an executive recruiter myself, I know how hard it is to find the right talent,” Jensen said in a statement. “Cara and Albert checked every box for me and I could not be more thrilled to have them join the Jensen Partners team.”
Jensen Partners sources and places asset-raisers in hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate and prime brokerage.
