CenterGate Capital-backed Mid-State acquires AZZ SMS

CenterGate Capital's portfolio company Mid-State Industrial Maintenance (Mid-State) has expanded its service capabilities in the power generation and pulp and paper industries with the acquisition of AZZ SMS (SMS) from AZZ Inc (AZZ).

Headquartered in St Petersburg, Florida, SMS is a specialty provider of turnkey boiler repair, maintenance, and overhaul services and is a key strategic addition to Mid-State’s broad services offering. Mid-State and SMS both serve similar end markets with a focus on safety, superior service, and strong long-term customer relationships.
