FLX Distribution, a technology platform bringing together asset management firms and distribution professionals, has named four experienced distribution professionals to its critical Portfolio Service Team (PST).
The team is responsible for bringing the full resources of the FLX marketplace distribution model to asset managers.
“We are driving the concept of Distribution At a Reasonable Price (DARP) and these four highly experienced and highly qualified individuals are joining the foundational team here at FLX Distribution,” says FLX President and COO Mark Spina. “They will be working collaboratively to raise and retain assets on behalf of our asset management members.”
FLX Distribution’s innovative platform is addressing the challenges asset managers face in the delivery of investment offerings to a changing market. Membership in FLX provides asset managers with the ability to adjust their distribution bandwidth. Members can seamlessly expand upon existing distribution resources by accessing FLX for additional experienced distribution professionals and value-added business building solutions, increasing or decreasing resources flexibly in accordance with the lifecycle of their capabilities.
The PST is an integral part of FLX asset management distribution. The team supports ongoing sales and service activities for FLX’s growing number of asset management firm members. The team will represent asset managers and their products to financial advisors, intermediaries, institutions, and professional buyers globally. The team will coordinate product updates and positioning information between managers and their FLX distribution teams. They will also assist in client resolution issues and other client engagement initiatives.
Importantly and differently, the team is enhanced by leading-edge technology. The firm and the PST are powered by a combination of proprietary tech developments and a stack of leading software providers. FLX has created a seamless exchange for sharing information and intellectual capital. This exchange allows asset managers to create and track objectives, while distribution professionals gain access to the information and insights that drive advisor engagement.
