Four Elements Press Release: Four Elements Embraces Multi-Asset Strategy By Integrating AI Into Its Funds
December 2023 - Managed Futures
Singapore, 15th December 2023
Beginning 1st January 2024, Four Elements will enhance its fund management approach by incorporating advanced machine learning and AI technologies into its fund portfolios across asset classes. This initiative represents a strategic shift in the company's investment process. The primary fund will transform into a diversified Pure Alpha Managed Futures Fund, covering various asset classes such as Commodities, Equities, Interest Rates, and Foreign Exchange Futures.
Thus the Element Fund is transitioning into a cross-asset, quantitative model, utilizing AI technology to become the Pure Alpha Quant Element Fund. This evolution retains the trusted legal framework of the Earth Element Fund, which boasts a 15-year track record. Enhanced with advanced AI models specifically designed for each of the asset classes, this strategic shift represents a forward-thinking approach in asset management. It applies comprehensively across all asset classes, harnessing the capabilities of AI to enable more intelligent and dynamic investment decisions across assets. The extended diversification will allow us to focus on less crowded markets.
The EUR Class of the Fund is undergoing a change of benchmark to become the Long Alpha Quant Element Fund. This change signifies a crucial development towards a Long Only benchmark, adopting a bifocal investment strategy: 50% allocated in Equity, specifically the S&P 500, and 50% in Gold. The Long Alpha Element Fund aims to integrate the steadiness of beta with the responsiveness of active management ported from the Pure Alpha Fund, providing a strategy that is both balanced and dynamic.
At the heart of this transformation lies Four Elements' proprietary AI technology platform, a product of the firm's longstanding commitment to quantitative research, now elevated through AI. For years, Four Elements has been incorporating Quant research, AI, and machine learning into its processes. In the past year, there has been a focused
effort to further integrate these elements across different asset classes. The platform exemplifies our deep-rooted expertise and innovative progress in AI, marking a new era of intelligence and flexibility in our investment strategies.
This integration of AI enhances our capability to adeptly manage the complexities inherent in a diverse range of asset classes. As a result, our clients will gain access to a sophisticated, AI-driven approach to investing, built upon a foundation of extensive quantitative research that Four Elements continually advances and applies in its future
endeavors.
