Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio has warned that the US could face a debt crisis within the next three years, arguing that the country’s worsening fiscal position poses risks not only to domestic markets but to the wider global financial system, according to a report by the Chosen Daily.
Dalio said in a LinkedIn post on 21 August that a US debt crisis could arrive “within three years”, although he allowed for an estimated margin of error of roughly two years.
