Australian equities portfolio manager Frank Podrug is set to depart Cooper Investors later this month, according to market sources, to take up a new position with Sydney-based hedge fund firm Drummond Knight, according to a report by the Financial Review.
Podrug, who has spent nearly eight years at the Melbourne-based asset manager, has reportedly tendered his resignation and is set to join the hedge fund, which was founded by former Point72 trader Lindsay Taylor.
