Blue Owl Capital has appointed former Barclays executive Takeo Ikemori as co-head of its Japan business, reinforcing the alternative asset manager’s expansion in one of the world’s largest institutional investment markets, according to a report by the Japan Times.
Ikemori joins the firm’s Tokyo office as head of Japan institutional capital and will serve alongside Yoichi Nakamura, who leads Blue Owl’s private wealth business in Japan, as the firm’s representatives in the country.
