Vantage Data Centers is considering a public listing or potential sale that could value the hyperscale data centre operator at around $100bn, according to a report by Reuters citing unnamed people familiar with the discussions.
The company, backed by Silver Lake and infrastructure investor DigitalBridge, could seek to raise approximately $10bn through an initial public offering as soon as next year. If pursued, the listing would rank as the largest data centre IPO to date, the sources said.
