Dr. Peter Heller is the co-founder and executive director of the Canopus Foundation. He studied Economics and Philosophy at the Universities of St. Gallen, Lausanne (Switzerland), and Freiburg (Germany) (PhD 1988). From 1990 to 1997 he was deputy mayor for environmental protection on the Freiburg city council. He is a co-founder of the Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy (BASE).
