A pair of prominent hedge fund firms are poised to benefit from an upcoming IPO — one that is not an AI, robotics, or biopharma company.Instead, an energy company, CoVolt Power, has filed initial plans to go public. The company was formed from the May 2026 merger of Signal Energy and Applied High Voltage, providers of engineering, procurement, and construction services. CoVolt did not disclose how many shares it hopes to sell or an anticipated price range.
