Skye Global has returned to Earth.The formerly soaring long-short hedge fund headed by Jamie Sterne is up less than 2 percent over the first half of the year after losing 3 percent-plus in June, according to an investor. Last year, the hedge fund, which managed about $5.2 billion at year-end, was up just 10 percent.This is a departure from 2017 to 2020, when it posted gains of 77, 35, 53.7, and 68.6 percent, respectively.
