Asset Adviser Appoints Frank Sørensen as Senior Strategist

Asset Adviser, a Danish boutique asset manager, has appointed Frank Sørensen to the position of Senior Strategist, completing a long-anticipated professional union. Sørensen's appointment comes less than one year following the 2025 acquisition of Stonehenge Fondsmæglerselskab by Sparinvest, where Sørensen held dual leadership roles as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

Sørensen joins Per Gramstrup and his existing team overseeing Asset Opportunities, the firm's flagship dynamic and opportunistic multi-asset hedge fund. According to Gramstrup's announcement, he has known Sørensen professionally for 15 years and has actively waited for an appropriate opportunity to bring him into the firm. Gramstrup stated: "I have been waiting for an opportunity where Frank would find it exciting, attractive and appropriate for his career to join my team here at Asset Advisor." Gramstrup expressed confidence in Sørensen's prospective contributions, anticipating "lots of strong analyses of the financial markets, lots of good sparring about the positions we take for our clients."

Asset Adviser was founded by Gramstrup in 2009 as a one-person boutique focused on opportunistic multi-asset strategies employing a risk-on, risk-off framework. The firm expanded its reach in late 2016 with the launch of Asset Opportunities as a formal fund vehicle. The strategy operates through continuous assessment of risk-on and risk-off sentiment across financial markets, integrating both objective and subjective analytical factors. These include long-term macroeconomic trends, economic cycles, monetary policy conditions, investor sentiment indicators, asset flows, and the behavioral biases of market participants.
