The Norwegian hedge fund industry has emerged as the standout performer in the Nordic region in recent years, translating strong returns into rapid asset growth. According to the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet), the industry managed €7.1 billion in assets at the end of 2025, up from €6.1 billion a year earlier and more than double the €3.1 billion overseen at the end of 2020.
