KKR managing director Bing Gu has departed the investment firm after more than four years, marking the latest senior personnel change in Asia’s increasingly competitive private credit market, according to a report by Bloomberg.
Gu, who was based in Hong Kong, led KKR’s credit investment activities across North Asia and headed the firm’s Greater China credit business. KKR has confirmed his departure, saying Gu had left to pursue other opportunities. Gu has also confirmed his exit.
