As we approach the end of the year, there are several themes in play for bonds.
Inflation
It doesn’t matter what inflation measure you prefer — all are much higher than people have been used to over the past few years. The markets were habituated to the idea of annual inflation of +/- 2%, and that expectation has clearly gone off the rails
